

Nicholas Schmidt, Director and Principal
Nicholas Schmidt's area of expertise is in taking concepts from academia and statistical theory and applying them to issues found in litigation. Nicholas is a Principal and Director at Navigant Economics. He consults on a variety of economic matters including labor and discrimination issues, valuation cases, and other securities matters. He has over a decade of experience performing complex econometric analyses of human resources databases in support of large class action discrimination and wage and hour litigation. During his time at Navigant Economics he has worked on over fifty labor discrimination and wage and hour matters, developing expertise in human resource data systems, statistical analyses of data, and the application of state-of-the-art econometric techniques. Nicholas holds an MBA in economics and econometrics from the University of Chicago.
