Jeffrey A. Eisenach, Ph.D., Managing Director and Principal

Jeffrey A. Eisenach is a Managing Director and Principal at Navigant Economics, an Adjunct Professor at George Mason University Law School and a Visiting Scholar at the American Enterprise Institute. His practice focuses on antitrust and government regulation, emphasizing matters involving the communications and information technology sectors, employment regulation, and public finance. He has testified and/or submitted expert reports in Federal District Court; before the Federal Trade Commission, the Federal Communications Commission and several state public service commissions; at the U.S. Department of Labor; and, in litigation or regulatory proceedings in Australia, Canada, the Caribbean and South America. He has also testified before Congress on several occasions. Among his previous affiliations, Dr. Eisenach served on the Faculty of Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government; as a scholar at the Heritage Foundation, the Hudson Institute and The Progress & Freedom Foundation; as a consultant to the U.S. Sentencing Commission (on corporate sentencing guidelines); and, as an economist with the Federal Trade Commission. He is currently an officer and member of the Board of Directors (Audit Committee) of the Economic Club of Washington, a board member at the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation (ITIF), and a member of the advisory boards of the Pew Project on the Internet and American Life and Washington Mutual Investors Fund. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Virginia and a B.A. in economics from Claremont McKenna College.
